My art has always been a part of me. It often translates the meanings and words I can not find into a language all of its own.
As I try to find a platform on which I feel good about sharing my art, and the subtle and not-so-subtle meanings it has for me, I have started to post a semi-daily retrospective of my work on BlueSky (@jenlo262.bsky.social), where my first post was of the image above, “Shining Light Onto My Shadows.”
As I go forward, I expect my studio social media output to mostly consist of regular art posts on BlueSky, longer artist notes here on Substack (An Artist’s Notes), collage prompts on CollageO.Substack.com, and studio updates via my Newsletter. I am currently undecided on the future of my (multiple) Instagram and Facebook accounts. Much like with Etsy and eBay, they may just sit idle for a while as I consider my options.
That’s all I have to share for today, but I hope to see you here or somewhere socially (online or in person) where we can continue to connect and communicate in ways only art allows.
To letting your light shine,
Jennifer
