I had the good fortune to enjoy a few days of vacation for the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend with my dearest inner circle of humans. Being together and enjoying the moment was such a balm for my creative soul and a source of strength for my heart.
The break in my routine was also a welcome reminder to take each day a little more slowly cherishing the moments we have together and choosing to fully be present and show up for each other even when we are apart.
“Moon Chant”
a whispered rhythm
embedded in the heart
reminding us to breathe
In
Hold
Out.
Repeat.
It also reminded me of the importance of connecting with others and finding ways to support and celebrate our shared humanity, even as the incomprehensible inhumanity in the world weighs heavy.
Wherever we are, however small or big our circle may be, at the end of the day - the moon will rise… and we are reminded to breathe. And with each breath, may we focus our attention inward, then outward, and work to rebuild a better world.
In quiet gratitude,
Jennifer
