This is my favorite photo of me with my dad. He was a teacher. A good education was a cornerstone of his beliefs. I love this photo because it shows him at his best - giving me the paddle and allowing me to learn as I moved awkwardly through the water, offering his expertise as needed. It wasn’t always this easy. We often battled, sharing a strong will and determination. But I will always remember the lovely moments too and am thankful I have one of them perfectly captured here.
To the lovely moments of life.
Happy Father’s Day,
Jennifer
p.s. I’m back in the studio after two weeks on the road! I have much to share, but for now, I wanted to keep this day simple as I reflect on the amazing dads in my life who I can not be with today. (And as I also continue to unpack my bags - and even more ideas and thoughts from my travels too.)
