In lieu of any cohesive thoughts from my studio life right now (let’s be honest, my brain is still trying to sort itself out after a whirlwind month of graduation events, vacation, and planning and making for upcoming studio projects and opportunities) - I’m sharing last week’s post from my other Substack Page,

I hope you enjoy it too - with this recent post briefly showcasing my progression as a collage artist - starting with this 2020 piece, “Making Room for the Discarded”.

What is Collage Circle?
A collage community. A supportive creative space. An evolving idea.
A place to learn and grow - introducing Principles of Art, Elements of Design, and self-expression through collage with consideration for materials and the stories they hold.
Collage Circle is a community and idea in development - started in 2024 by Oregon artist, Jennifer Lommers, where mini art lessons are shared with a targeted focus over a series of weeks directly from the little collage table corner of Jennifer’s studio.
